“You’re creating every moment of your life—from the most common, ordinary creation of new cells in your body, to your emotional responses, to your present job, to your bank account, to your relationships with friends, and to your very attitudes about yourself. It’s all creativity.” — Louise Hay
Only you can put more you into the world.
To help you open back up to what matters to you, here are seven mantras for creativity. Use then in your meditations, print them out and look at them before you go to work, or pick your favorite and repeat it whenever you need it most.
7 Mantras for Creativity to Starve Judgment and Feed Your Soul
1. I shape my reality.
I am always in touch with my limitless creative source. What I pay attention to grows and shines. My awareness is like fertilizer for the flowers I want bloom—I don’t water the weeds. I give what I wish to receive and in this way, I am living creatively.
2. I live the spirit of creativity.
I naturally foster creative solutions for everyone around me. New pathways open because I am receptive to new possibilities in all my relationships and experiences. I bring this spirit of creativity and openness to myself and others.
3. I am a creative expression of life.
I was born with creativity written in my heart, and that cannot be erased. I am blessed with a mind that can imagine things that have not yet been seen. Creativity expresses who I am, and what makes me unique makes a difference.
4. I am a conscious participant in my manifestations.
I participate in the world with an open, joyful, collaborative awareness. I am intimately unified with the people and the environment. I see how my energy is connected with my life experiences. I relate to others in loving, intentional ways and I participate fully in the decisions I make. I create with purpose.
“You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings.” - Elizabeth Gilbert
5. Creativity loves to be shared.
I expand the spirit of joy in the world. I share my appreciation and talk about my dreams. I leave every situation better than I found it and every conversation more hopeful than before. My light shines so that we can all see more clearly that we're creators of the experiences we keep.
6. Appreciation resolves judgment.
I create space within and around me that is open and appreciative. I live in this space of freedom and acceptance where creative expressions flow with ease. I allow transformation and growth. I come from a willingness to understand and be understood, to give and be given to.
When you allow people to grow at their own pace, you make room for creative possibilities. Your acceptance and appreciation fosters our elevation as a whole.
7. Each moment is new.
Life is not stale or stagnant but fresh in the present moment. Life is creative. By being present I make myself new and creative too; possibility flows through me into this moment and into the world. I am an integral part of this creative process.
