5 Fall Affirmations for Rest, Reflection & Renewal

5 Fall Affirmations for Rest, Reflection & Renewal

Fall is one of the loveliest times for reflection and renewal. Magic seems more easily accessible, almost like it’s glittering in the air, begging us to see it. You’ll want to keep these fall affirmations on hand if you’re ready to open up to the beauty this season has to give.

“Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.” – George Elliot

The most delicious season of all is the one where every leaf dances to nature’s song of celebration.

If you’ve been burning the candle at both ends, are hopeless or heavy-hearted but still passionate about helping where you can – this is where renewal comes in. We reflect here. We pause to repair. We exhale what we’ve been holding. We inhale what we’ve been needing.

In the fall, we remember what purpose feels like: it’s in the air; falling from the trees.

Since I am not alone in my love for this season, you’re getting five fall affirmations to help you tune into all of its beauty AND to inspire courage to change things that just aren’t working anymore.

Welcome autumn into your heart – it has so many secrets to share.

5 Fall Affirmations to Fuel Inspiration & Hopefulness

1. I open my hands to the gifts of change.

I let nature teach me the passionate art of letting go in order to make way for renewal.

I am not bound to any time and place forever. I am not afraid to start over. I am allowed to discard the past that is no longer needed and lay it gently upon the earth.

The seasons are not afraid of change. Nature does not believe in being stuck. Neither should you.

2. I grant space for real rest.

I take a gentle cue from the falling leaves, trusting that everything is falling into place. It is my time to slow down, to make space. I vow to do less rushing and more living, less reacting and more deep breathing, less proving and more sweetening.

3. I harvest the garden of my soul.

I embrace each season of my healing: every phase of life. I feel a joyful release sweeping away the shame and blame clinging to mistakes – in their place are planted seeds of a new season. Dying leaves nourish the soil for beginnings.

I release my grip, too, on that which is meant to be new. Clarity moves in like crisp autumn air.

I believe in magic because I see it fluttering toward rebirth from the autumn tree.

4. I see little miracles everywhere.

I adjust the way that I have been seeing. I see this season through the lens of grace: a miracle painted on every golden leaf. I begin my own transformation in accordance with the shifting winds. I, too, listen to the pull of the earth and gaze with wonder in every direction.

A new perspective is surely the miracle behind every little miracle that I am seeing.

5. I vow to be here, entirely.

I could revel in this place forever, but nature has her ways, so I will revel in this place for as long as it stays.

I delight in the delicate, intelligent processes that repeat themselves with such care. I see deeper into the soul of every living and fleeting thing. I walk the earth with lightness in my step, adoration beating in my chest. I am open to beauty wherever I go.

Autumn is a season for listening and looking upon the earth like a child would.

Tell me:

What are your intentions for this season?

Tell me in the comments. I read every single one, and I’d love to know!

If you’ve got a fall-loving friend, share these morsels of self-truth with them.

With love,

Jen

I intend to make time in the day to walk among the still trees, falling leaves, flying birds, and cool breeze autumn brings.
