7 Powerful Affirmations for Change in Every Season of Your Life

1. I am supported.

I feel emotionally supported by life itself. In this feeling state, I can release all fears and remember that I am loved. I remember that at my core, I am love. I can release the past experiences that have hurt me, and look upon them with grace and forgiveness.

I am willing to trust the process of life now.

How would you live if you believed that life was a miracle? That your being here is a miracle?

2. In any given moment, I can return to peace.

I can tap into a wellspring of peace and joy in any given moment. In any given moment, I have the chance to change the way I experience my experiences. In any given moment, life gives me a reason to be grateful, to smile, to celebrate being alive.

When I choose to experience the sweetness of life, a light appears in the darkness and potential blossoms from uncertainty. I choose thoughts that support this kind of peace.

3. I am learning to be more giving and forgiving.

I see that we're each asking for love in different ways, and we’re all always doing the best we can with what we have and know. I may not understand someone’s path, but I can still practice compassion and live my way with greater love.

I am willing to forgive everything that has ever hurt me. Even if I can only do that ten seconds at a time.

“What I like most about change is that it’s a synonym for hope.” – Linda Ellerbee

4. I want to experience it all.

I take nothing for granted. I marvel at the miracle of life in all its stages. There will be more highs and more lows, but such is the natural wonder of being here, alive, on earth.

Whatever is coming my way, I am willing to embrace it as if my soul had invited it here. I can learn something from everything.

5. I am secure and safe being who I am.

I choose thoughts that allow me to express my truth and creativity. If I want people to love me for who I am, I first need to take off the mask. I deserve to live a life that feels like my own, so I let myself slowly unravel all the labels that aren't really me.

6. I am equipped with the power to change my life.

My mind houses the very thoughts that can spark positive change. I choose thoughts that help me to use this power wisely. I can bend and stretch, and play with new perspectives, and always come back to my center.

Because I can always change my mind, it's never too late for me to change my life.

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.” – Norman Vincent Peale

7. My life is constantly being made new.

I am not damaged, broken, or abandoned. I am healing. I am rediscovering myself, and I’m starting over.

I am meant to be where I am, experiencing life in new ways all the time so that I can grow toward love, forgiveness, and peace.

There is grace in trust, and peace in release. And I, too, am always being made new.
