3 Positive Morning Affirmations to Keep You Peaceful & Powerful
Waking up with peace in your heart is easier when you have a morning ritual in place that invites peace. Reading positive morning affirmations upon waking is one such ritual. It’s a simple practice, really. It’s one I believe in with all of my heart, one I know has the power to support you, no matter what your day looks like. That’s why I’m sharing something special with you today: it’s from a book I think you’ll appreciate (hint, hint).
Today I’m sharing 3 positive morning affirmations from one my new book, Morning Affirmations: 200 Phrases for an Intentional and Openhearted Start to Your Day!
Each phrase (here and in the book) is a little beam of light, a beacon to follow. It’s a way for you to make love/peace your daily decision before the world tells you how this day is going to be, before telling you how to be.
Repeating and keeping something genuinely positive close to your heart first thing in the morning is a powerful way to retain your own power.
Think of these positive morning affirmations as soul vitamins. They’re not extravagant or over the top. They’re down-to-earth, meaningful reminders of the light you keep inside: your ability to change, heal, grow, shine, help, receive, and continue. Like my first book, Sleep Affirmations, this book is meant to be a daily source of authentic inspiration or, when you need it, consolation.
I hope you enjoy these three simple gems, excerpted from the book.
Use these affirmations to open your heart and let the sunlight in. Look at them (or your favorite one) as soon as you wake up, before checking your email or social media or turning on the tv. Nourish your soul first: it’s the best kind of nourishment for a day well lived.
Mornings are perfect for miracles: beginnings are the best time and place to start anew.
3 Positive Morning Affirmations from My Forthcoming Book
1. My core is unshakable.
I create a sanctuary within, a place where I rest regardless of what the rest of the word is doing. My light is secured and my peace remains undisturbed. Wherever I go and whatever I do, my inner strength comes with me too.
2. My power is my responsibility.
Determining my worth and potential is too great a responsibility for anyone else to assume. I brave every fear with a radiant heart. This is the hour that I reconnect with my power. It is time to prioritize what I can do.
If you want to wake up with a grateful heart, wake up with a daily commitment to open your heart to life's boundless grace.
3. Peace is my priority.
I don’t need to know, have, or do everything in order for peace to live inside of me. I can approach anything from a place of inner ease. I don’t chase peace because it’s already here—seeking me; I just open my heart and let it breathe.
