5 Healthy, Positive Mantras to Inspire How You Love Your Body

5 Healthy, Positive Mantras to Inspire How You Love Your Body

You can't enter the world someone other than who you really are and expect to be loved for who you are. You need to be the one who validates your own self, who respects your own physical presence on earth. Come back to these mantras when you forget how valuable you are, how far you've come, how much potential you have.

“Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance.” – Brené Brown

Acceptance cracks the door open so love can walk through.

5 Mantras to Inspire How You Love Your Body

1. I am my own brand of beautiful.

I don't base my self-worth on the world around me. I do my best, forgive the rest, accept what I can't change, and turn my weaknesses into strengths. I'm not a problem to be solved. I'm here to experience life as fully as possible, and my body lets me do that. What a gift.

You are your own brand of beautiful. When you honor that, the world is instantly more beautiful.

2. My body is a garden.

My body isn’t my whole self, but it’s the part of me that lets my light shine on earth. It’s a symbol of creation, an instrument of the kind of love that only knows how to grow.

I release the aesthetics, because art is about how a masterpiece comes into existence, not the final product itself. I embrace all the things my body is capable of giving, receiving, creating, and healing from. I shower my body with love; that's how it grows more beautiful, from the inside out.

3. It’s good to be alive.

I am here, and this is a gift. That is all.

“It is also helpful to realize that this very body we have, that’s sitting right here right now, with its aches and its pleasures, is exactly what we need to be fully human, fully awake, fully alive.” - Pema Chödrön

4. I am a friend, not a bully.

I am more than this thought. I am a friend to myself, not a bully. I'm here because the universe longs to experience itself through me.

Treat your body like your friend, and that's what your body will be.

5. Joy is true beauty.

My joy, the joy I give and the joy I receive, is the true measure of my beauty. That undercurrent of joy is what really makes my whole life beautiful, and a gift for every life I touch with my own.
