4 Spiritual Affirmations for Self-Respect and Sacred Intent
I wrote these spiritual affirmations to inspire you to respect yourself, live the prayer, and do love.
These words aren't associated with any certain religious beliefs, just the religion of love, and oneness.
The idea behind them is that when you pray, however you pray, be the prayer. When you love, be the love. Be all there in everything you do.
I think that's the most spiritual thing you can do.
These four affirmations come from a special hand lettered print I made some months back. I expanded on them here. Use them as a sort of mantra whenever you need a reminder of what a miracle everything is... even, yourself.
4 Spiritual Affirmations for Self-Respect and Sacred Intent
I am the temple.
I am life embodied. I am a shard of divinity, a long time in the making. I am sacred like a spirit with a human name. And I am grateful, humble as dust, because I am of the earth.
I am the altar.
I am a work of art, and I am unfinished. My life is a constellation -- I am whole and in pieces. I am a body of transformation. I am all light and dark, ocean reflecting sky. I am an eternal memory. I am conscious of my own treasures: the ones inside of me.
I am the prayer.
I am the practitioner and I am the practice. I am hope on its feet. I build my house out of words and dreams and generosity. In my forgiveness, I find freedom. In my giving, I receive.
I am the love.
I am more than what I see, what I feel, and what I think. I am a force of nature. I am the energy that never dies. My heart beats with the same intelligence that grows flowers and makes art out of stars. The wisdom of the whole universe lives inside of me.
If this resonates with you, check out the affirmation art print that inspired these! ... I'm making greeting cards out of them now, too :)

Tell me:
How did these affirmations make you feel? What comes to mind, what comes to heart?
Tell me in the comments. I'd love to know!
