3 Affirmations for Success (The Kind That Feels Good Right Now)
You don't have to wait to see what the outcome looks like to feel successful right here, where you are. Why wouldn't you start planting joy before you harvest it? To help you dig up a little more joy in the journey, play these affirmations for success on repeat in your head. They're from my new book, Morning Affirmations!
You definitely don't need to have it all figured out to enjoy the ride. Nobody else does, anyway (no matter what they say).
More things you don't have to do:
- Wait for the end goal to make an impact.
- Be healed before you start helping others heal.
- Check off every task before you smile.
- Conquer every goal before you're successful.
Perfection is the last thing you need to be on this planet.
Try this instead: play with gratitude inside first. Before you have a "reason" to be grateful or feel supported.
Imagine that you're standing where you need to be. Here, you're already connected to what you need, like the path itself connects its beginning to its end.
Practice visualizing how you want the process to not only look but feel. (It helps me.) How do you want to feel right now? How do you want to feel when you arrive?
Let your success start inside. Visualize it. Nurture the internal experience of it. Water it and feed it one day, one step at a time. What you carry inside of your heart is what you're bringing into your tasks.
Success isn't only about what you see on the outside. It's about what you're carrying inside of your heart.
I know how easy it is to get discouraged on the way to finishing "all the things." To get stressed out because you're not where you think you need to be. Because you feel behind or inadequate.
It's so easy to assume that everyone else is doing better than you. You see numbers and shiny things on Instagram, but what you don't often see is the process or the progress.
The outcome isn't an isolated event -- it's the result of how you've traveled.
To help you travel and live better, use these affirmations. They're from my new book, Morning Affirmations: 200 Phrases for an Intentional and Openhearted Start to Your Day.
Print or write out your favorite phrase to keep with you when you need a pep talk. These affirmations for success are meant for the morning, but you can repeat them whenever you need a reminder of what really matters and what you can control: how you live right here.
